
Logan Gabriel, guitarist, began playing classical guitar at the age of eight. He attended Keene State College, where he studied guitar with Jose Lezcano and Ted Mann. During his college years, Logan distinguished himself by winning a scholarship and second prize in the Hilderbrandt Award competition, top prize in the Concerto Aria competition, and by having many of his compositions debuted and performed.
Logan has studied with Benjamin Verdery, Frank Wallace, and Berit Strong. He has performed in masterclasses for Paul Galbraith, Everton Gloedon, Lily Afshar, Antigoni Goni, and William Feasely.
In 2004 Productions d'Oz published Logan's arrangements of 120 Bach Chorales for four guitars. In 2005 Quantz Music published many of Logan's arrangements for solo guitar, guitar duet, trio, and quartet, in addition to his arrangements for flute and guitar and his original compositions for guitar and flute and guitar duo.
Logan has recorded two CDs. He teaches at the Manchester Community Music School and lives in Nashua with his wife and their two children.
