Tori is a Nashville-based singer songwriter who's a dynamic performer and vocalist. Although the pictures make her look like she's on fire, it's actually just the reflection of the lights at the back of the house in the antique glass windows at the back of the stage!

UFB gave us two great sets of blues, funk, and roots music. This Milford, NH trio of high school students are already seasoned performers. A great night!

NYC's As/Is Ensemble, featuring pianist/keyboardist Michael Bellar, put on a great evening of cutting-edge contemporary jazz for the Studio 99 audience.

Boston folk/rock band Pesky J. Nixon brought its great vocal harmonies to the Studio on October 30th for a wonderful evening of originals --- and a few distinctive covers!

The Two Man Gentlemen Band performed for us during the summer, just before they began a stint opening for Bob Dylan in baseball stadiums! These two were unbelievably hilarious, and great musicians to boot. Neo-Vaudeville is alive and well... We apologize for not posting these sooner...we misplaced 'em for a bit.

Classical guitarist and composer Jose Lezcano returned to Studio 99 with Croatian flutist Ivana Zahirovic in advance of their performance at the National Flute Association's convention in New York City this summer. It was a treat!

Massachusetts-based flutist and music educator Rebecca Jeffries gave a masterclass for teens and adults today.

The Honey Dewdrops, the 2008 winners of Prairie Home Companion's "People in Their 20s" Talent Contest, held the Studio 99 audience in the palms of their hands for a moving set. This was their first appearance in New Hampshire.

Amy Conley's Acoustic Jam had a record turnout tonight...nearly 10 participants and half a dozen or more audience members. We had a blast!

The Scottish folk band North Sea Gas made Studio 99 their final stop on their 2009 North American tour. A musical treat, with an unexpected bonus: these guys were COMPLETELY hilarious, too!

Bluesy/folk legend Brooks Williams performed a great evening's worth of tunes for us.

Dallas-based singer-songwriter stopped in during his Northeast tour. A wonderful performer!

Liz Sanders, of the wonderful bands Annalivia and Longtime Courting, was joined by her British colleague Hannah Sanders for a wonderful set as our Featured Artists this month.

Tom Howie is a singer/songwriter on a songwriting scholarship at Berklee College of Music. He put on a wonderful show for a very enthusiastic Studio 99 audience.

A small but enthusiastic crowd braved hot, humid weather for a great evening with Angela. Her single, "Blacktop Road", was the most-added on the Americana charts during the week she appeared with us! In addition to great performances by vocalists Jeremy Gillam and Robert Reid, featured artist Jonah Tolchin, age 17 (and his special guest, vocalist Caitlin Gillam) played a wonderful set for us.

Boston-based traditional contradance band Matching Orange played two wonderful sets for us tonight. These guys have talent to burn. We look forward to having them back very soon!

NH's own Average Joes, a barbershop quartet, were our featured artists this month. A delightful change of pace!

The legendary bluesman and roots musician, a crony of Bob Dylan's from Minnesota during the early 60s, played two energetic sets for us.

NH's own "gypsy" jazz trio brought their hot acoustic sound to the Studio on May 23, 2009. They'll be back!

After the wonderful solo show Ian performed for Studio 99's audience, he went down the hall to our neighbors at Sid Ceaser Photography. Sid Ceaser and his partner Sara Prindiville took a wonderful series of photos of Ian and his acoustic double-neck guitar, wrapping up the session around midnight.

Brooklyn's own folk/bluegrass/country blues/jugband/Americana impossible-to-pigeonhole travelling band, the Wiyos, gave a rousing performance at the Studio to a crowd ranging from late teens through early 90s. Not a toe in the house was idle...

Cambridge-based busker Steven Bacon delivered a moving set of originals after an extremely strong line of storms moved through. Great performances from many others, as well. What a night!

Surprise 2008 Bonnaroo Festival favorites Stephaniesid performed a great set for us. We were happy to host them!

Cambridge-based Miss Tess wowed Studio 99's audience with two sets of "modern vintage" sound on Friday 4/17. What a night --- thanks to all! Bob Pope did a masterful job at assembling and leading a group of new and veteran Bluegrass musicians through a great evening of heartfelt music. Thanks, Bob! We're so glad to have you with us!

Dr. Jose Lezcano, of the Keene State College music faculty, gave a solo guitar recital at Studio 99 on March 28. It was wonderful to welcome his expansive sound to the Studio!

This was our third Open Mic -- the first one from our new schedule (Second Saturdays at 8). A great collection of performers and a wonderfully attentive, receptive audience --- but not enough people! Free admission, folks...please spread the word.

These pictures are from our jazz and blues improv jams we had at the Studio, over our first months of operation (Summer and Fall of 2008). Later on, we decided to make Jazz and Blues Jams separate events on our monthly schedule.

This was our second Open Mic. What a blast!

Our Grand Opening Party hosted about 60 guests (from the Nashua arts community to old friends from all over New Hampshire and Massachusetts). Maurice Cahen (guitar) and Ricardo Frota (violin) provided a wonderful evening of Brazilian music via their duo, Brazilian Serenade.
